Terms & Conditions

Welcome to METTHO. When you shop with us (or access our services, apps, and websites (our “Websites”)), these terms apply. You can find out more on our Help pages (which also form part of these terms). Of course, if you need anything else, get in touch with Customer Care – we always love to hear from you!
We keep these terms and Help pages updated and we amend them every so often, so remember to check back in before you shop, as the latest set will apply.
These are the legal terms and conditions under which We supply the products (“Products”) listed on our website www.mettho.com (“our site”) to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from our site. Using our site indicates that you accept these terms and conditions together with our Privacy Notice. We may change these Terms at any time, and the revised Terms will be made available on our Site.

About You

  • To shop with us, you need to:
    be at least 16 years old;
  • have a credit or debit card that we accept (see bottom of the page for details of current payment providers); and
  • be authorized to use that credit or debit card (e.g. it is in your name or you have permission to use it).

Note that, some of the goods sold through our Websites may not be suitable for under 18s.

ORDER AND FORMATION OF CONTRACT

When making an Order, you must follow the instructions on the Site as to how to make your Order and for making changes to your Order before you submit it.
When you place an order, you should receive an acknowledgment e-mail confirming receipt of your order. We then carry out a standard pre-authorization check to make sure there’s enough money on the card.
We only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card (and then the contract is made based on these terms).

You must pay for the Order in full at the time of ordering by one of the payment methods we accept on the Site. You must be fully entitled to use the payment method used for purchases. The payment method must have sufficient funds, credit, or other payment facilities to cover the purchase. We are not responsible for the decisions of payment providers to allow you to use their service or provide any warranties or assurances about them. If a particular service is not available to you, you should use another valid payment method. You may elect to store your payment methods in your Account for future purchases.
By making an Order, you expressly authorize us, before accepting your Order, to perform credit and security checks and, where we feel necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your credit card number, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorization, to conduct loss minimization and anti-fraud measures and to authorize individual purchase transactions.

If you discover that you have made a mistake with your Order after you have submitted it to the Site, please contact Customer Service immediately, although please note we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your Order in accordance with your instructions and that fees may be applicable to process a change.
You may be able to cancel (not change) your order within a short period of ordering – timings depend on your chosen delivery method (and will be set out in the acknowledgment email). You can’t change your order – you’ll need to cancel (and/or return the original item(s)), and re-order.
Very occasionally, we may need to refuse or cancel an order or close or freeze an account (even if we have previously confirmed your order) – e.g. if we notice something unusual on an order or an account. If you discover that you have made a mistake with your Order after you have submitted it to the Site, please contact Customer Service immediately, although please note we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your Order in accordance with your instructions and that fees may be applicable to process a change.

But these terms and conditions, and any Contract between us, are only in the English language. Please note that We may not necessarily keep a copy of your Contract. You should keep a copy of these terms and conditions and your order for future reference.

PRICES AND PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

There’s a lot going on here at METTHO and from time to time our busy METTHOers may price up or describe a product or promo wrongly. If we discover an error for any goods you’ve ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order (at the correct price) or canceling it.
If we can’t get in touch with you, we will treat the order as canceled. If you cancel and you’ve already paid, we will refund you in full.
Prices include VAT (where applicable).
Depending on the value of your order or the delivery option or address you choose, delivery costs may also be charged (see below). Such additional charges will be clearly shown during the checkout process and included in the ‘Total Cost’.

DELIVERY

  • Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then as soon as reasonably possible (depending on the delivery service you have selected). In any event, delivery will take place no more than 45 days after the day your Contract is entered into.
  • If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the Products cannot be posted through your letterbox or left in a safe place, after three failed attempts, we may end the Contract.
  • Delivery of your order will be complete when We deliver the Products to the address you gave us and the Products will be your responsibility from that time.
    You will own the Products once We have received payment in full.
  • The images of the Products on our site and in our other advertising materials are for illustrative purposes only. Your Products may vary slightly from those images. Although We have made every effort to display and print the colors of the Products accurately, We cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the pictures, or the pictures in our other advertising materials, accurately reflect the colors of the products that will be delivered to you.

  • Working Days excludes weekends and Bank Holidays

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

RETURNING AN UNWANTED ITEM?

We get it, sometimes something just doesn’t work for you and you want your money back. Don’t worry, as long as an item is still in its original condition, we accept returns, subject to the rules below.You can request a refund for ordered products if:

you do not receive them within the guaranteed time (45 business days not including 2-5 business days processing);

you receive the wrong item;

You can return any item within 7 days of purchase if the item is unused with the original tags still attached; and in the original packaging which must be in the original condition. We’ll even pay for the return delivery!

We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
If you request a refund for an item during the above time frames but you can’t return it to us for some reason, please get in touch – but any refund will be at our discretion.

AFTER THAT?

We don’t accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return, we may have to send it back to you and ask you to cover the delivery costs.

DELIVERY COSTS AND PROOF OF POSTAGE

Depending on the options available in your country, you’ll be responsible for the cost of returning any items. We strongly recommend you get proof of postage.

KEEP IT CLEAN ( We do not issue the refund if: )

your order does not arrive due to factors within your control (e.g. providing the wrong shipping address)

your order does not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside our control (e.g. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster).

For hygiene reasons, we cannot offer refunds on fashion face masks, cosmetics, pierced jewellery, swimwear or lingerie, if the seal has been broken or is no longer in place.

ORIGINAL CONDITION

Of course, it’s fine to try an item on like you would in a shop, but please don’t actually wear it. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn, or in an unsuitable condition, we won’t be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). Alternatively, we (at our sole discretion) may choose to reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of an item.

All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging where possible, including tags (e.g., shoes should be returned with the original shoe box).

FAIR USE

If we notice an unusual pattern of returns activity that doesn’t sit right: e.g. we suspect someone is actually wearing their purchases and then returning them or ordering and returning loads – way, more than even the most loyal METTHO customer would order – then we might have to deactivate the account and any associated accounts. If this happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please get in touch with Customer Care and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.

OUR RIGHTS

  • We may end the Contract at any time by writing to you if:
    you do not make any payment to us when it is due;
  • you do not, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information that is necessary for us to provide the Products; or
  • you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the Products to you.

 

CANCELLATION

We may terminate a Contract if the product is not available for any reason. We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made. We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for the product. If the refund transaction fails we will advise you of this and make arrangements to process the refund via a different method.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our Customer Service Team. Once an order has been processed it cannot be canceled and the item must instead be returned to us in accordance with the returns policy.

YOUR INFORMATION

Our Privacy Policy sets out how we’ll use your information. If your details change, remember that you need to update My Account so we can continue giving you our best service (you can also update your marketing preferences there).
At METTHO, we love being able to interact with and chat with you through social media. However, we can’t control those social media platforms or how you set your profiles on them. Please check and set your privacy settings so that you understand and are comfortable with how your personal information on those platforms will be used.

When you provide us with your email address or mobile phone number, you may opt in to electronic communications in respect of news, promotions, wishlist reminders, bag reminders, and updates on the status of returns and refunds.  We may also communicate with you electronically as set out in the Privacy Policy.  Your consent to the receipt of certain communications may be implied from the use of certain functional aspects of our service.

NEWSLETTER SIGN UP OFFER

Our newsletter offer is valid for 30 days from the issue date and is only valid one time per person. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher on-site and is subject to voucher conditions stated above.

NEW CUSTOMER OFFERS

Our new customer offers are valid for 6 months from the issue date, is valid one time per person, has a minimum order value of $99.00, and can only be applied on the first order placed per person. The offer is only applicable on full-price items, cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional code on-site, and is subject to the voucher conditions stated above.

OUR LIABILITY

  • If We fail to comply with these terms and conditions, We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both We and you knew it might happen.
  • We only supply the Products for domestic and private use. If you use the Products for any commercial, business, or resale purpose, We will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
  • We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or any matter for which We may not exclude or limit our liability under any applicable law.
